Co-founder & lead walker
Dog-mad since childhood and never happier than on a muddy field with a pack of happy dogs. Heather leads our group adventure walks and looks after the puppy visits — patient, calm and endlessly reassuring with nervous pups.
Co-founder & pet-care lead
The safe pair of hands behind our pet visits. Jake handles the meet-and-greets, key security and the drop-in and cat-feeding calls, so owners can head off knowing their pets — and their home — are properly looked after.
A few words from the Liverpool families who trust us with their dogs.
“Heather and Jake are absolute gems. Our collie comes back from his adventure walks completely worn out and happy, and the photo updates make my day. Wouldn't trust anyone else with him.”
“The regular group walks have been brilliant for our two. Photo updates every time, clearly having a ball, and they come home happy and worn out. Reliable, lovely people — wouldn't use anyone else.”
“Our rescue can be nervous with other dogs, so the solo walks have been perfect. You can tell they genuinely get her. Her confidence has come on so much.”
“The puppy visits saved us when we went back to work. Consistent, reliable and brilliant with house-training. Our pup adores them both.”
“Reliable, professional and genuinely lovely people. The lunchtime drop-in visits are a lifesaver on my long shifts — our two are happy and never left too long. Can't recommend them highly enough.”
“Group walks a few days a week have been a game-changer for our springer. He pulls us to the door when it's a Tail Trek day! Punctual, friendly and brilliant with him — exactly what we wanted.”

Proudly local across South & Central Liverpool and into Knowsley.
Yes — Tail Trek Adventures carries full public liability and pet-care insurance, which includes cover for your dog while they're with us. We're always happy to show you the paperwork at your free meet-and-greet.
We cover South & Central Liverpool and into Knowsley — suburbs like Allerton, Mossley Hill, Aigburth, Woolton, Childwall, Wavertree, Calderstones, West Derby, Gateacre, Halewood and Huyton. If you're nearby and not sure, just ask.
Keys are coded rather than labelled with your address, stored in a locked box, and never left in vehicles. Prefer a key safe or smart lock? That's absolutely fine too. Your home security is taken as seriously as your dog's care.
It's a free, no-obligation visit where we meet you and your dog, learn their routine and personality, answer your questions and agree how everything will work. It's also how we make sure your dog will be happy and safe with us.
Always. You'll get a photo and a quick note after every walk or visit, so you never have to wonder how your dog's day is going.
Dogs still need their walk, so we head out in most weather with towels at the ready — a muddy, happy dog comes home clean and dry. In genuinely dangerous conditions (storms or extreme heat) we'll swap a walk for a garden break and enrichment to keep your dog safe.
Start with a quick message or the enquiry form, and we'll arrange your free meet-and-greet. After that, booking is easy and flexible, with simple regular or one-off options and straightforward payment — we'll walk you through it all.
