Dog walking in Aigburth from £13
Tell us about your dog — same-day reply.
Aigburth living comes with the Mersey on one side and Sefton Park on the other — which makes it just about the perfect place to own a dog, and a lovely place for us to walk one. Tail Trek Adventures are Heather and Jake, your friendly, fully insured local dog walkers, on hand for everything from sociable pack walks to quiet puppy visits.
We're fully insured and — because it's only ever the two of us — a genuinely familiar face at your door. Every walk finishes with a photo and a proper update, so wherever your day takes you, you always know how your dog's is going.
Otterspool Promenade is the local classic: a breezy two-mile stretch along the river with huge skies and endless smells, flat and easy enough for any age of dog. Behind it, Otterspool Park drops into wooded dells and little streams that dogs adore poking about in. And of course Sefton Park is a short trot away for open-grass gallops and lakeside loops.
We time promenade walks to make the most of the river breeze on warm days, and stick to the sheltered park dells when the wind whips in off the Mersey. Lark Lane's dog-friendly cafés make a nice finish, too.
Whether you're heading into town from Aigburth station or juggling a day around Lark Lane, we keep your dog exercised and content in between. Group walks, private one-to-ones, drop-in visits all flex around your routine, with free collection and drop-off from your door.
The riverside is exhilarating but exposed, so we keep an eye on the wind and the tide line along Otterspool, and always bring fresh water and a towel. In summer the early promenade walks are glorious before the heat builds; in winter the park dells offer shelter. For anxious dogs, the quieter Otterspool Park paths are perfect for building confidence.
Everything your dog needs, right here in Aigburth.

A few words from the Liverpool families who trust us with their dogs.
“Heather and Jake are absolute gems. Our collie comes back from his adventure walks completely worn out and happy, and the photo updates make my day. Wouldn't trust anyone else with him.”
“The regular group walks have been brilliant for our two. Photo updates every time, clearly having a ball, and they come home happy and worn out. Reliable, lovely people — wouldn't use anyone else.”
“Our rescue can be nervous with other dogs, so the solo walks have been perfect. You can tell they genuinely get her. Her confidence has come on so much.”
