Dog Walking in Broadgreen

Broadgreen is a settled, family sort of suburb of interwar semis and tidy tree-lined streets, with a genuine ace up its sleeve: two of the area's finest parks sit almost on the doorstep. We're Heather and Jake of Tail Trek Adventures, the fully insured local pair who keep L14 dogs happy and well-walked.

There's no call centre and no booking app here — just two neighbours who love the work, keep the groups small and well-matched, and send a photo and a few words after every walk so you always know how your dog got on.

Bowring Park and Court Hey on the doorstep

You're genuinely spoilt for parkland. Bowring Park sits beside the M62 yet feels a world away once you're in — landscaped greens, a golf course and long open runs, with wide, well-drained paths that stay walkable even in a wet week. Court Hey Park, home of the old National Wildflower Centre, is the gentler of the two, with meadow paths and pockets of woodland that dogs love to nose through, and shaded corners that are a blessing in summer.

A woodland change at Childwall

When a dog fancies something wilder, ancient Childwall Woods is a short trot to the south — proper old woodland, dappled and quiet, where the ground stays cool under the canopy and the smells keep an inquisitive nose busy for the whole outing. It comes into its own on hot days and holds real character through autumn as the leaves come down.

Whether you're on shifts at Broadgreen Hospital or catching the train from Broadgreen station, the working day gets in the way of a decent walk — so we take it off your hands. Group walks, solo outings, puppy visits and lunchtime drop-ins all bend to fit your week, with collection and drop-off from your door included at no extra cost.

Muddy paws, brought home clean

Both parks and the woods turn properly claggy after Merseyside rain, so towels come as standard and your dog is dried off before they're handed back. On warm days we lean on Court Hey's shade and the cover of the woods, and for a nervous or unsure dog the quieter meadow paths are ideal for building confidence away from the weekend footfall.
