Dog Walking in Sefton Park

Few Liverpool addresses come with a back garden like this one: 240 acres of Grade I parkland, right on the doorstep. Living around Sefton Park means a dog's life well lived — and Tail Trek Adventures are the local, insured duo to make it happen. We're Heather and Jake, and this park is our daily office.

We keep things small and personal — the same familiar walker, calm well-matched groups, and a photo and update after every outing. No apps, no agencies, no strangers.

The best dog walks around Sefton Park

Sefton Park itself is the star of the show: a boating lake to circle, wide open lawns for a gallop, the glasshouse elegance of the Palm House and the shaded, storybook Fairy Glen for a cooler wander. There's a route here for every dog and every mood, and we know the quiet corners as well as the busy ones. Just north, Princes Park offers a lovely, calmer Georgian alternative.

Lark Lane's dog-friendly cafés make a fine finish to a morning walk. We tailor each outing to your dog — an energetic explore for the young, a gentle lakeside loop for the seniors.

Dog care around your Sefton Park routine

Whether you're in a grand villa or a stylish conversion, the working day still gets in the way of a good walk. Our group and solo walks, puppy visits and drop-ins fit around it, with collection and drop-off from your door.

Sefton Park through the seasons

The park is magical year-round, but it changes with the weather: the Fairy Glen is a cool refuge in summer and a muddy delight after winter rain, when towels come into their own. On hot days we keep to the shade and the early hours, and for nervous dogs the quiet mornings by the lake are perfect for building confidence.
