The Triangle and the old railway trails

Halewood Triangle Country Park is the jewel — former railway land reclaimed by woodland and meadow, now part of the Trans Pennine Trail and threaded with wide, easy paths for long, unhurried walking. The old trackbed drains beautifully and stays firm underfoot even after a downpour, while the meadow edges turn soft and sniffable. Halewood Park runs alongside Netherley Brook with riverside and woodland paths, and the Okell Drive greenways link the estate greens together, so there's always a fresh loop to piece together.

Whether you're near Halewood village or working long shifts, we keep your dog exercised and content in the hours between. Group walks, one-to-ones, puppy visits and drop-ins are arranged around your routine rather than ours, with free collection and drop-off at your door and a photo sent through so the day makes sense even when you can't be there.

Wet trails, shady summers

The trackbed holds up well, but the brook-side paths and meadow get genuinely muddy after rain, so towels ride along on every walk and your dog is dried before they're home. In summer the tree cover along the Triangle keeps things cool for the warmer hours, and for a nervous dog the quiet, enclosed stretches of the old railway are a lovely, low-pressure place to find their feet. Come autumn, the trail is thick with leaf-fall and worth a slower, sniffier pace.
